Setting time limits for a video interview question

Limiting the response times for interview questions will benefit both the Job Team reviewing the responses and the Candidate. Time limits help manage what the Job Team has to review and communicates expectations to the Candidate regarding the level of detail in the response.

By default, we set the time limit of an interview question to 1 minute. Time limits may be set at 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 4 minutes, or 5 minutes.

To change this time limit:

1. Edit the interview question (see instructions here)
2. Click the Specify Time Limit drop down and choose up to 5 minutes
3. Click the Save button on the bottom right of the screen
4. Click the Save and Close button (or Save & Repost button, if editing a posted job) on the bottom right to exit the Interview Management Screen
