- Create a job in career.place. (Job creation instructions can be found here.) When posting the job, since Jazz will be advertising the job, be sure to NOT advertise the job on the free job boards (a check box you can deselect when posting the job) in career.place. Once the job is posted and “Active”, proceed to next step.
- Create a job in JazzHR. Under Job Title, choose the appropriate workflow you will use with career.place (typically a workflow without a Screening stage). To ensure the candidate experience is clear, the job title should match what your job in career.place.
- Click CREATE AND PUBLISH JOB.
- Next, you must add in the career.place evaluation as an assessment.

- In your Project Manager job, click Workflow tab.
- You’ll see a list of hiring stages. In the New hiring stage, click Add. Then click Assessment.
- From the pop-up window, click on CareerPlace Email.
- The career.place email template will populate.
- In the Assessment to Send drop-down menu, select the job you created in career.place. This job title should match the job are posting in JazzHR.
- Click Add Assessment.
- In your Project Manager job, click Workflow tab.
- The Assessment should now be listed in the New hiring stage.
- When candidates apply for the job, they will receive an email directing them to the career.place page for this job, where they will submit complete responses for the career.place process.
- Monitor the responses and evaluate each candidate anonymously in career.place.
- Unlock qualified candidates that you would like to pursue.
- Once unlocked, the candidate(s) will show up as “Qualified” in the Candidate page of JazzHR.
- Enter JazzHR account.
- Click on Jobs, then the particular job you are recruiting for. In this case, it’s Project Manager.
- Your candidate list will populate. You will see the career.place column on the right side. Applicants who have been qualified and unlocked through career.place will show a “100 – Qualified” label.
- Applicants who have not been qualified and unlocked will show a “0 – Not Qualified” label.
